Field Skillet
Field Company · Production in Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin
- What the maker says
- Field says every piece of its cast iron cookware is made in the USA, with production and fulfillment in Indiana, Illinois and Wisconsin. Its headquarters is in New York. Source: Field Company: Where Are Field Skillets Made?
- Caveat
- Field does not name its foundry on that page. A design firm that worked with Field has described the pans as cast at a Wisconsin foundry, then machined and seasoned in Indiana.
- Price
- Field listed the No.4 Skillet at $100, the No.8 at $165 and the No.10 at $215 on Oct 18, 2026. Prices change; confirm before you buy. The price on Amazon may differ.
- Why it makes a good gift
- Field highlights a smooth machined cooking surface and a lightweight design (it says a finished No. 8 weighs 4.3 lbs). A good pick for someone who finds old-school cast iron too heavy.

How to check before you buy
- Check the exact item. A maker’s statement can cover one line and not another. Look for the origin on the product page or the box.
- Read the label wording. “Made in USA” should mean all or virtually all. “With imported parts” or “Assembled in USA” are honest, qualified claims.
- Buy the maker’s own listing or a seller you trust. Marketplace listings are written by the seller, not the maker.
