Advertise with Proven American
Reach shoppers who are specifically looking for American-made gifts, on a site whose whole pitch is trust. That is only worth something to you if our readers trust us, so the rules come first.
An honest note about traffic. Proven American is a new site, so we do not have audience numbers to show and we will not invent any. When we have 60 days of real, privacy-friendly analytics, we will publish a media kit with the actual figures. Until then, we ask you to judge us on the model. We quote each placement individually, so tell us what you make and where.
Three ways to sponsor
Sponsored
Sponsored maker spotlight
A story page about your company and your people, built like our editorial spotlights.
- Labeled “Sponsored” at the top and in the page title area
- Includes your origin evidence, shown with your level
- Links carry
rel="sponsored"
Sponsored
Featured listing
A labeled card in the maker directory or on a topic page, such as Wisconsin or cast iron.
- Always marked “Sponsored” and shown outside our picks
- Needs a Level 1 or Level 2 origin check first
- Never inside a guide's “picks” and never affects our ranking
Sponsored
Seasonal hub sponsor
A labeled “Presented by” strip at the top of one gift guide for the season, such as Holiday 2026 or Father’s Day.
- One sponsor per guide, clearly marked “Sponsored”
- Sits above the guide and outside our picks
- Needs a Level 1 or Level 2 origin check first
The rules (these don't change for anyone)
- Sponsored is always labeled. Every sponsored page, card and strip says “Sponsored” where you can see it, and sponsor links use
rel="sponsored". We follow the FTC's endorsement guidance. - Origin proof is required. Before anything runs, we check the sponsor's claim the same way we check every pick and show its level. We write what the maker says, and we write the caveats too. If a claim doesn't hold up, we don't run it.
- No pay-for-ranking in our picks. Money cannot buy a place in a gift guide, a higher place in one, a different level, or a better caveat. Sponsored placements sit outside our picks.
- We keep editorial control. We write the copy or approve the final text. Sponsors don't get to preview or change our picks, guides or levels.
- Affiliate links and sponsorship are separate. A maker can be both a pick and a sponsor, and it makes no difference to how it's treated. We'll say so on the page.
- Corrections are public. If something in a sponsored page is wrong, we fix it and note the change.

Sponsored Level 2 Source-checked
Your Brand Here
Example layout only. This is not a real sponsor.
Short description, written or approved by us. Origin source and caveat shown below it, exactly as on every other maker.
Who it's for
- Makers whose products are made in the US and who can show it.
- Brands that will accept an honest caveat next to their name.
- Not for importers or “assembled” products presented as all-American.
How it works
- You email us with your product and where it is made.
- We do an origin check and tell you the level we can honestly show.
- We agree the format and the dates in writing.
- We publish it, labeled, and send you real numbers afterward.
