Short answer. Pendleton says most of its wool blankets are woven in its mills in Pendleton, Oregon and Washougal, Washington. Most is not all: its own line book lists some throws and pillows as imported, so look for “Made in USA” on the exact item’s page.
This page sums up what Pendleton Woolen Mills says about where this product is made, with a link to the maker’s own page, the caveats and the date we checked. We have not visited the factory or tested the product. Pendleton did not pay to be listed.

How to check before you buy
- Check the exact item. A maker’s statement can cover one line and not another. Look for the origin on the product page or the box.
- Read the label wording. “Made in USA” should mean all or virtually all. “With imported parts” or “Assembled in USA” are honest, qualified claims.
- Buy the maker’s own listing or a seller you trust. Marketplace listings are written by the seller, not the maker.
